Overview
The app bundles QEMU 11.1.2, licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later, built with the statically linked libraries and firmware listed below. Under the GPL you are entitled to the complete corresponding source code for those components, and you are free to use, study, modify and share it under their licences.
The source on this page corresponds to app version 0.1.0. When a new version of the app changes any of these components, we will add its source here and keep the source for earlier versions available.
The app's own code is proprietary and closed source. Nothing in the app's Terms of Use limits your rights under the open-source licences.

GLib (with PCRE2, libffi and proxy-libintl), pixman and libslirp are statically linked into the QEMU executables, which the app runs as separate processes. SeaBIOS provides legacy BIOS boot; EDK II provides UEFI firmware (OVMF for x86-64 guests, AAVMF for ARM64 guests).

Patches and building
We apply four small patches to QEMU and one to libslirp so they build and run on Android. The patches and the build scripts we use are in zelicra-qemu-android-patches-and-build-scripts.tar.gz.
Written offer
For at least three years after we last distribute a version of the app, we will give anyone who asks a complete, machine-readable copy of the corresponding source code for the GPL and LGPL components in that version. Email hello@zelicra.com and tell us the app version. Downloads from this page are free; if you ask for a copy on a physical medium, we charge no more than our cost of making and sending it.
