The short version
- The app does not collect, store or sell personal data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, crash reporting or tracking SDKs.
- The app makes no network requests of its own. It does not phone home.
- Your virtual machines, disk images and settings stay on your phone.
- Your guest operating system reaches the internet directly through your phone's connection. We never see that traffic.
- If you buy Pro, Google Play handles the payment. We only receive the purchase status needed to unlock Pro, never your card details.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all the virtual machine data it created.
- If you email us, we use your message only to reply. This website sets no cookies and keeps no access logs.
Who we are
Zelicra PC Emulator (package name com.zelicra.pcemulator) is developed and published by Zelicra Technologies Private Limited, a company registered in Kerala, India ("Zelicra", "we", "us").
This policy covers the Zelicra PC Emulator Android app and this website, emu.zelicra.com. For any privacy question, email hello@zelicra.com.
Data the app collects
None. The app does not collect, transmit, store on our servers, or sell any personal or sensitive user data. It contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software development kits (SDKs), and it does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
Because the app collects nothing, we do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose, and we do not transfer it to anyone. The only personal data we can receive is what you choose to send us by email (see When you email us) and the limited server logs described under This website.
Data the app uses on your phone
To run a virtual machine, the app works with some data locally on your device. This data is processed only on your phone and is never sent to us:
- Disk images and installers you choose. You pick ISO, IMG or QCOW2 files with Android's file picker (the Storage Access Framework). The app gets access only to the files you select, and does not request broad storage permission.
- Virtual machine files and settings. Disk images, machine configuration and app settings that the app creates are kept in the app's private storage on your phone.
- Network state. The app checks whether your phone is connected so it can provide networking to the guest operating system.
Guest operating systems and the internet
The operating system you run inside Zelicra (the "guest") can use the internet through a user-mode network (NAT) built into the app. Guest traffic goes directly from your phone to wherever the guest connects. It is not routed through Zelicra servers, and Zelicra cannot see, log or inspect it.
The guest operating system and the software you install in it are not made by us. They may make their own network connections and have their own privacy practices. Please review the privacy terms of any operating system or software you run as a guest.
Purchases through Google Play
Zelicra PC Emulator is free. An optional one-time Pro purchase (USD 4.99, which will unlock Zelicra Stream when it ships) is sold only through Google Play's billing system. Pro is not on sale yet.
When you buy Pro, Google processes the payment under the Google Privacy Policy. The app receives only the purchase status and purchase token from Google Play that it needs to unlock Pro. We never receive your card or other payment details.

The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone, SMS or broad storage permissions.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell or share personal data. The only third party involved in the app is Google Play, which distributes the app and processes Pro purchases under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
Outside the app, two service providers handle data for us and for no other purpose: our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, runs the server for this website (see This website), and our email provider stores the messages you send us (see When you email us).
Security
Data the app creates is kept in its private storage, which Android's app sandbox protects from other apps. Files you open through the file picker stay where they are, and the app can access only the files you chose. Because nothing is sent to us, there is no copy of your data on our servers to be exposed. Keep your phone's screen lock and software updates turned on to protect what is stored on it.
Retention and deletion
Virtual machine data stays on your phone until you remove it. Uninstalling the app deletes all the virtual machine data it created. Files you selected from other places on your phone with the file picker are yours and remain in their original location.
The app sends us nothing, so we hold no data about how you use it. Support emails and server error logs are kept only for the periods given in When you email us and This website, and you can ask us to delete your emails at any time.
Children
Zelicra PC Emulator is not designed for children and is intended for users aged 13 and over. The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children. If a child has emailed us and a parent or guardian wants that message deleted, contact us and we will delete it.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, including any details you choose to add, such as your phone model or the name of a disk image. We use them only to answer you and follow up on your question. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share your message with anyone except our email provider, which stores it for us.
We keep support emails for no longer than 12 months after your question is resolved, and we delete them sooner if you ask. If you are in the European Union or a country with similar law, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
This website
This website is hosted on Hetzner Cloud in Helsinki, Finland. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising, and loads no resources from third parties: fonts and scripts are served from this site.
The web server does not keep access logs, so there is no record of who visited which page. If a request causes a server error, the error log can record the IP address of that request together with the time and the address requested, so we can find and fix the problem. Error logs are deleted automatically after 14 days, and we do not use them to identify or profile visitors. Our legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including in the European Union and the United Kingdom, data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict personal data about you, and to object to how it is used. The app collects no personal data, so for app use there is normally nothing for us to provide or delete. For emails you sent us, or a server error log that may include your IP address, email us and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority where you live. You can stop all processing on your phone at any time by uninstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a future version of the app starts handling personal data in a new way, this policy will say so before that version is released.
